Public claim-status labels

VERIFIED SOURCE FACT: A controlled status that must remain attached to the visible statement and its cited source basis.
SOURCE STATES: A controlled status that must remain attached to the visible statement and its cited source basis.
EDITORIAL POSITION: A controlled status that must remain attached to the visible statement and its cited source basis.
ALLEGATION OR REPORT: A controlled status that must remain attached to the visible statement and its cited source basis.
UNRESOLVED: A controlled status that must remain attached to the visible statement and its cited source basis.
EXTERNALLY PENDING: A controlled status that must remain attached to the visible statement and its cited source basis.
QUARANTINED: A controlled status that must remain attached to the visible statement and its cited source basis.

What the labels do

They keep source facts, attributed statements, allegations, editorial positions, unresolved questions, and quarantined material visibly separate.

What the labels do not do

They do not create a court finding, agency determination, proof of wrongdoing, or guarantee that a claim is complete.
