The state’s own data show it used waivers and error prone administration until federal pressure forced a rushed, statewide work rule rollout. This has created foreseeable benefit losses and hardship for disabled and low income residents, including those in the Medicaid ABI Waiver population I serve. I request investigation into whether DSS’s implementation complies with SNAP, ADA Title II, Section 504, and federal Medicaid regulations, and whether prior reliance on waivers and poor administration concealed systemic noncompliance.
